Biography
Experienced financial leader embracing challenges to improve operations and drive growth. I have a reputation for open-mindedly solving problems, being adaptable to change and having a calming influence on our team.
As the Controller at Green Bay Seven Up Bottling Company, I led the day-to-day financial operations. I also oversaw office management, Human Resources, and IT functions. I added value by working with senior leadership to understand how the financial system interrelates with operations and how our strategies affect the big picture.
My early career involved completing bookkeeping and payroll for the bar and grill where I worked as a server and bookkeeper. The owner saw my commitment and talent for finance/accounting and encouraged me to pursue my bachelor’s degree. I am very thankful he helped point me toward accounting. Throughout my career, I’ve continued learning, growing, and strengthening my skills.
I am proud of the fact that I have made staying relevant a priority. I enjoy the challenge of keeping current with leading-edge software, technologies, and industry trends. I have been privileged to work for companies who support this endeavor.
Integrity is fundamental to who I am and how I work. I am an honest person, authentically living my life. I believe it is important to do the right thing, even if it’s unpopular.
My leadership interests extend beyond the workplace. I’m very involved in Management Women, Inc. – Green Bay, holding several leadership positions over the years.
