There were so many takeaways from our day together, but here are a few highlights:

One way to relieve stress: Leave people where they are.

The little things are the big things. A 4% change over time can be a game changer.

Reframing negative thoughts makes you happier. Change "I have to ..." to "I can ...".

To engage in better conversations, ask different questions. For example, instead of "How was your day?", ask "What surprised (or delighted or challenged) you today?"


Definitions learned:

Kaizen: A Japanese term that translates to "change for the better".

Mudita: Joy you feel in someone else's happiness or success.
