Mai J. Lo Lee (she, her and hers) is an educator and for the past 15 years she has worked within leadership, diversity and inclusion. She received her master’s degree in education at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse in La Crosse, Wisconsin and her bachelor’s degree in English and journalism from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Currently, Mai is working on her doctoral degree in Education. Professionally, Mai is director of the Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs (MESA) at the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Mai has received numerous work awards for her collaborative work and community outreach with education and leadership. In 2020, Mai was named of one most influential Asian American leaders within the state of Wisconsin. Currently, she serves on the board of director at the Green Bay Botanical Garden and is an appointed member on the Governor’s Advisory Council on Inclusion and Equity. In her spare time, Mai loves to read, travel, Peloton and enjoys her many attempts to “KonMari” her home. Born in the Ban Vinai Holding Center in the Loei Province of northeastern Thailand, Mai was raised in Central Wisconsin and now calls the Fox Cities her home where she and her partner raise their nine-year old child.
